Pierson Reunion

Just got back from a great weekend reunion with Eric's friends from Yale. We rented a beautiful house in Berkeley Springs, WV, which was a nice middle point for the group. Our first year together (2006) there were only two kids and now there are six. Here are a few pix of our expanding crew:

Dancing Machine

Evan is not shy about his dancing skills. Here's a glimpse of him groovin' to a toy in a store over the summer.

New Stats

Evan had his 18-month doctor's visit this week. He's doing great and growing well:
Height: 33" (up from 31.5" at his 15-month visit)
Weight: 26 lbs (up from 24 lbs at his 15-month visit)

Here's a video of Evan playing with his favorite toy this morning (thanks Uncle Bryan).

Building a Foundation

There is a wonderful children's museum in Philadelphia called the Please Touch Museum which we frequent often. Here Evan is very busy moving blocks back and forth in the wheelbarrow and honking of the horn of the bulldozer. He even clocked in with a time card before he got started.

Fun with the Friedmans

Grammy and Papa Friedman made their way to Philly after a conference in DC. It was a quick but wonderful visit in which Evan exclaimed "Papa" about a hundred times. This, as one would imagine, made Grandpa Warren quite proud.

What a difference a year makes

I always get a little nostalgic around the holidays. Many of my free moments are spent looking through old photos. This one epitomizes the phase when Evan earned the nickanme "Chunks" from his dad. He wasn't even crawling when we took this photo and now we have a talking, walking, energetic toddler. Even though it's 70 degrees in Philly today, it's fun to get excited for this year's fast approaching holiday season. Cheers!
